Changes on the 4Care Executive Board


After more than 11 years in management, Bernd Behrens and Marco Siegmund are scheduled to leave the company on 31 August 2017 to pursue other business activities.

“4Care has become one of the top players in our industry in recent years,” said Bernd Behrens. “It was important to us to leave the company in experienced hands to ensure the company’s continued success.”

On 10 May 2017, 4Care appointed its long-standing authorized signatories, Ling Fan-Montzka and Marc Forquignon, to executive management. Together with Thomas Bauer, who was appointed to the executive board in January 2017, the management team at the Kiel-based company is now complete.

“In Ling Fan-Montzka, Thomas Bauer and Marc Forquignon, we have three experienced managers who stand for continuity at the company and have excellent industry knowledge,” said Kevin Cornils, CEO of the MyOptique Group.

Ling Fan-Montzka has had a decisive impact on online marketing at 4Care over the last 14 years and will now also be responsible for the entire e-commerce sector. Before his appointment to the executive board, Marc Forquignon was head of Purchasing and Merchandize Control for eight years, and will now also be responsible for customer service, IT and quality management. Thomas Bauer, who has been responsible for the entire B2B division of 4Care GmbH for 10 years as sales manager, is now also responsible for personnel and public relations.

A member of the MyOptique Group, since last year 4Care has also been part of the globally operating company Essilor SA, and under new leadership is striving for stronger growth in the online and B2B sectors.
